Fort McMurray International Airport (YMM) provides free baggage carts next to the baggage carousels, at select entrances and exits, and in the parking lots. Please return all baggage carts to designated collection areas at the terminal entrance and parking lots.
Before travelling, ask your airline about its policies on passengers travelling with pets. With the exception of certified service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs), pets in the Fort McMurray International Airport (YMM) terminal must be kenneled and ready for travel.
Pets who come to the airport to greet arriving passengers must be leashed at all times and can not enter food service establishments, unless they are a certified service animal. We ask that everyone be a responsible pet owner and respect the space of other as well as pick up after your animal.
Animal Relief Areas
YMM has an animal relief area located at the outdoor courtyard. The courtyard is equipped with plastic animal waste collections bags and disposal units.
Pick-up Locations for Pets
If your pet is travelling on your flight it will be delivered to baggage claim. If your pet is shipped separately, please contact your airline for their cargo office location.
