Community Investment Program (CIP)
The Fort McMurray International Airport Community Investment Program (CIP) provides long-term support to local not-for-profit organizations that contribute to our community’s quality of life. The core focus areas of the program are youth, aviation education and heritage, and the Canadian military.
The Fort McMurray Airport Authority has established long-term partnerships with the following community groups:
- 868 YMM Rotary Northstar Squadron Air Cadets
- Fort McMurray Historical Society
- Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 165
- Wood Buffalo Food Bank Association
- YMCA of Wood Buffalo's Youth Leadership Program
Apply for CIP Funding
Requests for funding are reviewed annually. The deadline to submit a request for 2017 funding is July 31, 2016.

Additional Community Support
In addition to our long-term CIP partnerships, Fort McMurray Airport Authority is also proud to sponsor numerous local non-profit groups. Sponsorship requests are reviewed on a rolling basis, and interested organizations are asked to submit their requests via email to community@FlyYMM.com. You will be advised within 6 weeks of submitting your application if your request for sponsorship has been approved.
